CORCOVADO PARK SIRENA STATION
📝 Tour Description
🌿 Sirena Station – Corcovado National Park Experience
Of the five stations in Corcovado National Park accessible from Drake Bay, Sirena Station is the most visited. For this reason, it offers basic accommodation and meals for travelers with prior reservations (see Overnight tour). It is also one of the most important sites for scientific research in the park.
To reach Sirena, you will take a boat departing from Playa Colorada, with an approximate travel time of 1 hour and 15 minutes. Along the way, you can enjoy stunning coastal views and, if you’re lucky, spot dolphins and even whales.
Once there, you will hike for approximately 4 hours along the trails surrounding the station, where you can observe an incredible diversity of flora and fauna. Sirena is considered one of the best places in the park to spot endangered mammals such as tapirs, wild peccaries, monkeys, and many other species.
Without a doubt, a visit to Corcovado—especially Sirena Station—is an unforgettable experience you simply cannot miss.
